While visiting London recently, through sheer luck, I chose Feed the Village.
I hit the jackpot. Grilled right there in front of me, the flavours were worth waiting a moment or two to taste. Cooked with eggplant and zucchini, perfectly seasoned and positively delicious. Without a doubt, one of my favourite culinary experiences ever because you could tell the chef cared and wanted his patron to have a good experience.
I have said to friends since, if I lived in the neighbourhood, I would likely visit this food truck at least twice a week. Nourishing, satisfying and yummy, all priced very reasonably.

We absolutely love having ‘Feed the Village’ on our site. In fact we discovered them quite by chance several years ago and promised them we’d be busy enough for them to come and pitch up their van and entice our community with amazing vegan options that even had the most professional of meat eaters amongst us fooled! We were right and it was a sell out!
Nothing was a problem from rewording the menu to even changing some of the requirements very subtly on the menu to suit our community. David is a pleasure to deal with and his staff are all so so lovely and able, willing and hard working! They don’t stop from the minute they arrive and this last booking they actually took two pitches. Emails were answered and timings were kept to and all in all an excellent experience from start to finish. We just need a bricks and mortar shop that we can frequent in-between bookings!
We had guests from far and wide attend a very special celebration and were thrilled to have “feed the village” provide the food. It had to be special and was actually superb. I would recommend David and crew every time and will certainly be booking him again.
Feed the Village was amazing in every way! We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect fit for our wedding day. They were extremely helpful and warm to liaise with over messages, adapting to assorted guests’ dietary requirements, and generally making us feel at ease. On the day, they were friendly and professional, and the food looked and smelled wonderful. I had several friends make a point of saying how delicious it was! Especially our friends who (like us) are vegetarian, were delighted to have such a variety of tasty options.
It was really important for us to have delicious vegetarian and plant-based, and colourful, food on the day, and Feed the Village more than delivered on that. We went for the smaller gazebo buffet layout. With huge portions (phew), we had also ended up ordering more food than we needed (oops) but they kindly and thoughtfully left out a selection of “leftovers” which hungry guests went back to polish off after dancing – and there was pretty much nothing left by the end of the night. The wedding day was a whirlwind, and I was so excited/nervous/dashing around, I personally couldn’t manage more than a few bites, but what I did manage to eat was totally yummy.
